Wow, my apologies to all for my mistake in race 2. I did not see Gilles' message about waiting for Jerry, which apparently was sent when I was checking my setup just before taking the green. I just saw the folks behind me seemingly getting an awful start, thought huh??? but continued on. Didn't matter in the end, because I spun out, going back to last place, then blew up downshifting too fast (again) trying to keep up with folks.
Congrats to all who survived

My wheel force feedback was messed up in the first race after being fine in practice. I left the server at the start of warmup to reset the wheel. Got back into the server with about 3 minutes left of warmup. Was gridded last which was fine with me. From my standpoint no apologies needed.

But it still does not negate the fact that I gained an unfair advantage on you, and the rest of the field as a result (I provided my own disadvantage :-) We'd have had a fun first lap, with you 2 secs faster, me having the preferred line, and the fast guys all breathing down our necks.
I do wonder why, though, that you were gridded last. I've seen others exit and re-enter just before the green and take their rightful position at the start.
Hopefully at the final race I'll provide better competition for you....also hopefully more "back pack" guys show up just in case you leave me far behind.

I think it was because he was off server when I did the grid switch.

Not the best way to end the season. My force feedback went away in the first race. The reset button would bring it back but it would go away again. I jumped out and re-set my T-500 in Windows during warmup for race 2. It was better but not as good it should have been. RACE 1Started fifth but Mr. Page squeezed past in the first corner. Chased Aaron for four laps until he ran off. Later in the race saw Mr. Whited up ahead but couldn’t catch Jason; no thanks to my FFB breakdown. Finished where I started. RACE 2I expected the game would put me in last place for the start and that was fine with me. I was just happy to make the race. The green flag waved, I stomped it, saw an opening between two cars, went between them and then got by some slow cars and ended up in P2 coming out of the first turn. At the time I was thinking, “Why are these guys so slow off the start.” When I looked at the replay it was obvious. Everyone let me past because I was supposed to be on pole in the inverted start. What a nice gesture – gentlemen race drivers one and all! The race was fun. Some excellent passing by the guys who went by. And I ended up in P4. Congrats to all intrepid drivers taking the green flag and sticking with a difficult car to race. And thanks to CMS and the admins for providing a challenging race series.
