CMS races on Tuesday nights within the MNRL chapter. MNRL, as a league, has been conducting races since 1998.
MNRL is mainly dedicated to running Classic, Historic or Vintage cars.
We have also run series in some more modern cars by popular demand.
MNRL is currently utilizing the highly renowned simulator Automobilista (AMS) for it’s races.
MNRL Season 13
Introduction
Our first series will be a ‘club race’ themed series, with focus on tracks below the equator, South America and Australia.
We’ll use what has become a classic ‘series 1’ race format; 2x20 minute races at each event with top 6 inverted in race 2.
We’ll be using the MCR Race Car, Sports 2000 mod, brought to AMS by Reiza studios, Part of the Automobilista - Brit Pack.
A restricted-rules class of two-seat, mid-engined, open-cockpit, full-bodied sports-prototype racecar used largely in amateur road racing.
Sometimes known as S2000 or S2, the class was developed by John Webb, then of the Brands Hatch racing circuit in England.
Our focus series (‘series’ 2) will feature a new AMS mod, created by GTSPEEDSTER, Ford vs Ferrari.
These Beautiful classics, the Ford GT40 and the Ferrari 330P3, will take you back to the pinnacle of sports car racing and the famous battle of racing dominance.
The series will feature tracks ‘in the spirit of’ the real world schedule.
