Fantastic race all. Had lots of great battles and plenty of action on track especially at Rivosa lol. Congratulations to the podium. On a serious note, please be careful of your re-entrys after an off track. I lost a position because of a hell bent for leather re-entry then had to take evasive maneuvers again the next lap from the same driver.

WITH A LOT OF BRONCA I MUST SAY THAT ANOTHER VES I BROKEN THE ENGINE WHEN LOWERING THE GEARBOXES, IT HAD NOT HAPPENED TO ME IN ALL THE PREVIOUS TRAININGS BUT IT SEEMS THAT MY CARMA IS IN THE RACES WHICH STARTED IN THE FIRST ROW LEADING AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED IN A DETERMINED MOMENT I LOSE CONTROL OF THE CAR WITHOUT MEANING AND THERE COMES THE UNCONTROL ERROR AFTER ERROR AND I ENDED LIKE THE TWO RACES WITH THE ROTATED ENGINE AND VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH MYSELF, I HOPE TO BE ABLE TO RUN MORE QUIETLY, TO RETURN MORE QUIETLY, TO RETURN MORE QUIETLY, BECAUSE I REQUIRE THEM TO RUN MORE QUIETLY. JOE RYAN WINS FOR THE PODIUM AND TO ALL THE BOLDNESS WHO DREAMED TO RUN ON THIS VERY FAST AND DANGEROUS TRACK, SEE YOU ON THE TRACK GREETINGS TO ALL.

Wow, after blowing up last race and feeling like I'd do so again in practice, I took a look at Joe's setup (thanks for making that available, Joe). Averaging between his setup and the one I had been using I wound up with a car I thought I could drive without major problems.
Start, not so good again, Brette getting by, but Tony cutting me a TON of slack in the first turn ( thanks again, bud, I think I owe you about 10 now!). Was looking forward to a great first half between Brette, Jerry, Tony, and me, but Tony lost it behind me on lap 2 or 3, so now it was a challenge between 3, with me staying close enough to Brette and Jerry to be able to enjoy watching their race. Brette got by, and took off, and now it was just Jerry and me. Damn, Jerry, that was a ton of fun racing with you. How many laps was it, 7-8, and had you not gotten 2 wheels off it might have been 20-30. Thanks for maintaining control while keeping your foot in it making it safe, but difficult, to pass you. After the pit stop, I had to just make laps and finish. But I did finish, although a lap down.
Luis, hope your net access gets fixed before the next race in this mod

I have to admit my heart wasn't really into this race. It's been a depressing week. Unhealthy air due to fire smoke nearly every day. Lightening strikes started four major fires in the San Francisco Bay area. We get smoke from all of them. No fun going all day, day after day, with the A/C running and the house shut tight to make it livable. No fun having to wear a smoke mask to go outside. Especially no fun that the smoke blocks out the surrounding world - no sky, no hills, no bay, no colors. Finally, have seen a little blue sky now and again the last couple days. Maybe, in another week, we can get back to just dealing with the plague.
It was a challenge trying to hold off Messrs. Brooks and Page. Brette was quicker and Aaron kept banging on the door. After they got by (thanks for the run guys) I ran off, bent the car up, and had to pit early to fix it. Then I did it again. I considered parking it but got stubborn and soldiered on to the finish. At least I didn't screw up the pit stops.
Congrats to all intrepid drivers taking the green.

Hah, Jerry, "but got stubborn" is the attitude that gets me through many races, as well.
That must suck, seeing only greys and browns, and wearing a mask to be outdoors solo is just as bad. Here, it's either been really hot or we get a deluge (humidity levels off the charts, so as Cincinnatians say, you "wear the weather."). I'm thinking about growing gills. But considering what folks are enduring down in Louisiana (etc) I've got nothing to complain about that I haven't already adjusted to. Hope you get some blue skies for a few days before the next race.

I'd best be extra careful at Monza! Apparently I die here. "Despite numerous safety improvements, the spectre of death was still never far away. The promising Bruno Deserti perished here, as did Tommy Spychiger, Englishman Boley Pittard and, most infamously, Austrian Jochen Rindt, the only man to be posthumously declared Formula One champion."
