Well today I had problems of all kinds, first the game takes me out of the classification and I could not classify the last one it came very well and grabbing Jason and Joe when I made a brake error later and I barely touched Joe (sorry) we got out of that With a few scratches and started to attack Jason who had left a few seconds when I came cutting I happen again and break a rubber, I leave the pits with the car a little crooked but it was moderately well I got to fight for fourth place and about to To be able to pass it, Gilles approaches with less laps, he puts the car in a place that he should have waited because, as I say, he was coming back a lap and it was not necessary to go there, well with the consequence that he crashes me and sends me against the walls and again makes me prick And breaking the whole car from there on was a mess until the end, I greet Jason for the win, Joe for second place and Ryan for third place, see you next time, sds.

Congrats to Jason and Joe. You guys did a superb job. This was a heck of a track and you two ran excellent races. I could keep up on pure speed, but not consistency. And mistakes beget more mistakes and before you know it I'm 40 seconds back...
I'm having trouble viewing the data on my work PC, but I'll try again from my home PC tonight.
Thanks all for putting this together. I reiterate my comment that I love driving the GT40, but once this series is done I'm never looking at it again!!

She is a foul mistress Ryan. Great race everyone, congrats to Jason and Joe. Had a pretty good race except for pesky mistakes on worn tires. Good racing with you towards the end there Bob, I have to work on not choking on crappy Goodyears lol.

Man, I was brain-tired at the end of this race! Almost jumped the start, and the green light finally lit during the time I was repositioning my feet. So three folks behind me got by before I got up to speed. Heading into T1 I saw one driver pushed off the track (in my opinion -- haven't yet watched the replay); passed him and another who had gone off, cause unknown. Approaching T2 somebody took what, from my cockpit, a risky chance, and as a result another driver went off, stage right. I figured I'd better mind my P's and Q's, and just try to survive, which I did although accompanied by some self-caused spins. Being the slowest, I think, car on the track, I pretty much just wanted to finish whole, but as I was debating a pit stop I passed Pete who had gone off just before the pit entrance, so I ducked in. Ran a bunch of solo laps, watching someone behind me gaining a second or two per lap from pretty far back. Then, a driver exited the pits in front of me, literally crab walking on the track, and I had to hold my breath while trying to get by. That being accomplished, the driver who had been gaining on me turned out to be Gilles, but he lost 2-3 secs/lap off his times trying to pass me without hitting me (thanks for the respect, Gilles). Well, naturally, after a few laps I spun right in front of him, leaving him nowhere to go. So I waited up for him, and once by me he was long gone.
So, I finished in the same position as I had at the start, but it certainly was fun trying to concentrate on keeping the rhythm needed to keep my ride on the track. Congrats to Jason on the win, and to all who had the courage to run this track/mod combo!

It's been an up and down series thus far, for me. At Sebring, though the standings don't necessarily reflect it, I struggled with the car. At Imola it was absolutely hooked up. At Monza I bailed because a real world injury sort of forced my hand, but the car was not so great there for me either. I really enjoy the car at times, but I didn't prep much for this one because (1) I've been quite busy real world side, and (2) I wasn't looking forward to wrestling with the car like I did at Monza. A few hours before race and I finally got some laps in and instantly the car was hooked up again. I grabbed my Imola setup and it seemed to be working fairly well. A few minor adjustments and it was golden, but I knew it was going to be a struggle to stay out front and be consistent.
I got a decent start and was out into the lead early, but I knew Joe had the pace (actually, most places, had a bit more pace) so it was definitely going to come down to consistency. Took a lot of focus to keep it inside the white lines and on the limit, but it was a blast to toss around and just seemed to be doing exactly what I wanted it to do. I lost a bit of time at my pit stop...seemed I was burned a substantial bit more fuel in practice than I did at race time. Finished the race with like 12 gallons still in the tank, but that's ok...car sometimes likes to get sketchy on low fuel so prevented that at least. Joe, unfortunately, got pushed off the track quite early on so I ended up with a big (and rather surprising to me) lead...but, I nearly lost all that was gained taking it too easy and not managing the gap 100% properly. Gap or no, I was definitely on my toes and up on the wheel until the very end and the gap had came down to less than 2 seconds before a late mistake from Joe sealed the deal.
Fun race, and so enjoyable that I definitely want to spend some more time in the car before the next event, just because it's so fun to toss around. Grats to others on podium and see you guys at the next one!

Going into this race I didn’t have the time I wanted to get a good setup. Ended up with a slow car that was stable. Thought about not running but guessed there would be a lot of attrition so decided to race.
Qualified 10th and got a good start up to the first corner. After the dust settled I was chasing Mr. Carman although Mr. Williams whipped past after an off track excursion. On lap 3 I went by Mr. Page after he had an oops.
Going into the tight, blind Shell Oil corner on lap 5 I plowed into the back of a car just re-entering into the middle of the track. The damage made the car a handful so I hit the pits on lap 8 to fix everything and get enough fuel to finish. After a few more laps the #20 Ferrari wasn’t handling much better so I retired.
Congrats to all intrepid drivers taking the green flag.
When re-entering after going off track the proper procedure is to ease on along the track edge to give overtaking cars plenty of room to get by. If you use the track map you can check how close on-coming cars are.

If you use the track map you can check how close on-coming cars are. That car in front of you in the blind hairpin was my slippery GT-40. Yes, I was trying to recover from a spin and bad timing on the recovery for your arrival. After someone push me off into the fairway at T2 on L1 without the slightest slowing, I may have been a bit focused on self survival in line with the name of the series.
Apologize for the damage ruining the rest of your race Jerry. You should ask the Commendatore to strengthen the front end of that Ferrari some beyond Pininfarina egg shell panels. I'll ask the guys in the shop to make some extras front panel struts for my Ford after all the damage from the Oulton race and loan you a couple for Spa.
Seriously, I'll monitor the traffic around me better in the future since I certainly don't have a good handle on this car yet after the two races I was able to run. I hope to get to a stable yet competitive level before the end of the series. Sure would be fun to mix up with the top five with confidence.
Well done up front guys!

Can I reiterate how good AMS is? It makes my sphincter pucker when I get out on those marbles and I feel it through the wheels...
