Congrats to Joe and Bob on their respective wins, and to Bill for a double on senior wins. (btw, Bob, I saw just before logging off that you said that it was your first win -- extra congrats on that!).
I had an absolute BLAST racing Jerry in race 1. Per usual, I had to do everything I could to keep up, but managed to do so most of the time. The stats say we made contact 2X, and I only remember one, so I'll have to watch the replay (I know I bumped you entering the turn just after you had a minor difficulty, Jerry -- that's why I backed off -- but I thought I missed you a few seconds before that). Jerry wasn't giving up, even when I thought I might pull off a pass, and consequently we had 15/16 laps of good racing.
Race 2, and my screen didn't register any drivers except myself during a very early lap (storms here might have been the cause) but once everything came back I saw I hadn't lost much to the pack (although I was a bit unnerved). And, once again, it was Jerry and me having another battle, me chasing. I did manage to get by eventually, then both of us passed Brette, who had a spin (and must have sat there with his brakes on forever waiting for us to get by); but neither of us was a challenge to Brette, and he sailed away while Jerry and I dueled. Jerry had some sort of trouble in T1, which allowed me to pull away, and I spent the rest of the race just trying to make consistent laps.
As usual, even though I was comparatively slow, I had a fun night, and I look forward to running this mod in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the the good time, folks.

Well considering I never made a competitive pass on anyone, I like the results.
Race 1 was fun trying to keep up with Brette, and staying ahead of a closing Bob. Race 2 was really fun. Gilles spun leaving Bob and myself 1-2. My biggest fear was Joe and Jason overtaking the field, but watching the replay they were all over Brette like hair on a gorilla. Brette did a great job defending his position, but eventually they were by and closing. Then lap 13 happened. I got next to Bob entering the SF straight, but on the wrong side for T1. I had Jason, and now Gilles behind. I backed out a bit late to give Bob the corner, but managed to just tap his rear quarter getting him out of sorts. He recovered, I took to the runoff area, looked like Jason and Gilles were going to thread the needle and get passed both of us, but the god of sim racing was smiling on Bob and I: we came out of it still 1-2. Now I really wanted to win, but Gilles was closing fast with only a few laps to go, and I couldn't close the gap to Bob. So now I wanted to finish 2. On the last lap I was sure Gilles would out brake me at the end of the straight, but didn't. Best race I can remember having is some time. Thanks guys.

Good Show Bob and Joe.
First Race, I was staying with the gang, even putting pressure on BoB but I had a brain fade and missed my braking reference at corner 4, the first square right, didn't want to rearend Bob, I went left and continued straight into the offshute. I didn't hit anything but stalled it, when I punch the starter button I also pressed on the limiter so stalled again. figured it out and took off but way way behind. Apart from passing Aaron and Jerry, I raced alone most of the race.
Second race, I was starting first, If I could just make a gap during the first lap, I could win this. I had a nice start and was going good but on cold tires, it went around on me. FML... 2nd picture, I'm at the back. I couldn't care less at that point... left corner was yellow but the car drove straight. It took me a while but I got back to the front and I after a bit of mayhem up front, I was 4th, following Jason, even got by him but he took 3rd spot back. The action was really close, I didn't want to mess my 4th place up so I wasn't too keen to try stuff. Like the 3rd pic shows, I'm stuck to Jason and Bill and Bob are going to go in the first chicane side by side. It didn't go very well. Coming out of the chicane, Bill is off to the right and Bob is just slow coming out. Jason tried to go around Bob but he was still trying to get the back under control, rearend was going right-left and as Jason passed, they tangled... I'm home free !!! "Few laps to go and I'm snatching back first place!" YA... Right. Jason was rotating right in front of my nose and I tried left... no go. I pinned Jason right into the door and we careened off in the wall, just long enough for Bob and Bill to go by. I was able to continue and finis in third. Quite happy, the last few laps were awesome.
I came out of my chair with a big smile, a fun night. I read that it was BoB first win, well done Sir!
