tbh, I am only concerned with what sim the MNRL will be using. In an earlier post Jason said that the Assetto sims didn't strike him as consistent with the MNRL style (rats!-ACC has beautiful graphics, but is a bit difficult to navigate) and that Automobilista2 didn't seem quite ready. He recommended rF2, since many likely have the basics of that sim. Heck, with all the rF1 material we have that likely is easily convertible to rF2, I'd prefer to go that route. But Joe, this is your call, since you put in the work, so tell us what sim YOU prefer to use. I'll go wherever you chose, which I think most of the guys will do unless it's something stupid like bulldozer or school bus races!

If we did anything other than AMS, it would be rF2. Lots of mods to choose from.

Don't forget Raceroom (aka R3E). They give good discounts twice a year (usually between 50 and 80+%, depending on the package or single car or tracks purchased).
Even Wreckfest gives discounts twice a year. That thing is a hoot, even offline against the AI.
If you already have the games, then its open season on DLCs of choice.

I am on the verge of uninstalling rF2, I just don't play it. I guess I could keep it on just for online racing, but I wasn't convinced watching the televised rF2 racing during the lockdown. I really only use AMS for online racing...
Not that I'm suggesting this for us, but I am a big fan of Project Cars 2. The vintage content is among the best. I put together a career mode in Excel that makes you a vintage driver and you work your way up to the 90's GT1 and 2000's LMPs. Its over at Race Department. I wish I'd released it when the PC2 Deluxe Edition was on sale for $14, now its expensive.
