Thanks to everyone for sticking it out while we were sorting issues Tuesday night. Not sure what was going on, but your patience was appreciated.
Great track and fun car...perfect combo for some sprint styled races. Martin dominated, I couldn't keep his pace in either race. Congrats, Martin.
I love these cars, and this series is going to be a blast. Can't wait till the next one! See you all there!

Hello friends, regarding the races, they were very good, both of them saw me with a very good rhythm throughout the race and I didn't think it would make a difference. I expected a closer fight with Jason, in the first race I was surprised by the lack of gasoline Of course I had calculated with the consumption in 1x and well I gave eight laps and stayed, there I want to ask why I have no points since Joe also stayed a lap later and if Ryan has the same, already in the second race he can load the Gasoline, although I started from behind, I knew that I had a good rhythm, I made a good start and in a couple of laps I was ahead, I began to push to make a difference and that I was able to do and see the checkered flag ahead, I congratulate all the riders and also nevertheless to next race of these funny cars, greetings

First off, congrats to Jason and Martin on their overall wins and to Jerry and Peter for their top two finishes in the seniors' division. Also congrats to Ryan for finishing his second race (and would have finished his first had it not been for the fuel situation) -- Ryan, there's probably a bunch of us that can't claim to have achieved that.
As for my races, they were more dependent upon my doing a file verification via Steam than anything else; just a word of warning, if you intend to do this in the future do backup your files first. Anyway, after doing so I found that I was basically set to how the sim was when I first downloaded it, and the defaults were nothing like I had tweaked my wheel settings to be. So, still unsure if I had ball-parked them sufficiently for a race, I loaded up on fuel (having seen the server was set for gas guzzling mode), and proceeded to have a lackluster race, beating three competitors only due to their running out of fuel. (incidentally, my fuel icon came on during the final lap, although the stats said I had 11-12% fuel left, so apparently that warning comes on with a few laps to spare). Race two was more interesting, once the restart attempts were done. During those aborted attempts Martin had shown that he was going to scream up the inside into T1, and I seriously thought about slowing that down on the final restart, but desisted. Ryan held on to my tail for a few laps, Joe got by as expected, but I caught up to Steve after he apparently had an off, and we had a few good laps after that. Once he passed me (again) I tried to make him nervous, but I had no bullets in my gun, nothing but bluff, and he left me far, far, behind.
I do love slinging these little cars around, and I want to thank the MNRL for running this mod again.

I really do like these cars. I had a fun two races and managed a fourth place each time. There was some really close racing and I hope I didn't cause anyone a problem. I'd check the replay but I can't.
I went to start my computer the next day and NOTHING! No lights, no sound did it make. Hoped it might be the power supply, put in a new one, but there are still problems so I'm still troubling shooting it. Last week I also pulled a muscle in my back that is harassing me and making it a little difficult to bend and work in the case. I was planning to build a new one. If I can't get my current one back up in a few days I'll start ordering the components. Not sure how it's all going to work out and may have to miss a few weeks of racing due to back/computer problems.
Good news is I got my first of two COVID shots on Sunday.
Y'all take care. I'll be back when I can.
