That was a blast. Hilarious little beast, this thing. I simply couldn't quit over driving it (it was just too much fun to drift it around) and eventually destroyed my tires. Last 5-7 mins of race 2 was pretty tough, car did NOT want to do as I told it. Great racing with Brette and Jerry. I've got to get a screenshot of a moment where we were 3 wide on exit of one of the tighter corners. ...didn't even bump doors, was glorious. Might have only been a few of us, but the intensity of close racing makes one forget that in a hurry. I love how aggressive one can be in these things. There was a moment I tried to overtake Brette and entry of T1...I overshot it. Need to apologize for that one, though I did back out and let him have the spot back. So, sorry for that, Brette. Just went in a wee bit too hot and she wouldn't comply. I'm hyped for the next round at this point. Grats Martin. Thanks for the fun, guys. See ya next time!

man, I was soooo disappointed to have the disco issues beat me....storms here kept bumping me off (normally my conn is 260 mpbs down and 110 up with a ping under 10, so it's rare for me to have this issue). Barely made it into the second race, but since everyone kept disappearing I had to drive very conservatively until my final disco....rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Sure was a fun mod to drive, and I do hope there is something equivalent in rF2. Time to watch the replays :-)

Missed the last race. Too much real life stuff interfering with the fun stuff. Although one project taking up way too much time is my new PC build. It’s been a real hassle and incredibly time consuming. I’m stuck now thanks to Amazon. After they said the PC case I ordered would arrive June 14th I started ordering the rest of the components. Then on June 14th they said it would be longer and they have not given me any indication of if or when I’ll get it; and I’ve found it nowhere else. All I need is the case and the graphics card.
RACE 1: Started 5th and had a little luck from the guys in front. During the first four laps Jason, then Joe, then Brette went off putting me in 3rd on L-5. Joe tracked me down and got past the next lap. Then Jason hounded me for seven laps and squeezed by on L-13. Fortunately he spun on the last turn on L-16 and didn’t have enough time to try again. I finished 4th.
RACE 2: This was one heck of an excellent and very enjoyable race. Superb driving, tense situations, never a dull moment, close racing. What fun!
Everyone should look at the first lap. Some seriously excellent racing at the start. I started 3rd, dropped to 4th on L-2 with Jason on my butt and Brette right behind him. AND THEN THE DONNYBROOK STARTED! You could have put a blanket over the three of us for the rest of the race. They swapped places multiple times over the next 14 laps, taking turns trying to find a way around me. They tried inside, outside, and on both sides.
On L-15 Brette found a small hole on the inside going into a turn and made it stick. Jason ran off on L-16 and got detached from the fun. I hounded Brette for two laps but he wouldn’t make a mistake. I finished 5th.
Congrats to the podium finishers, thanks to everyone for the excellent driving, and special thanks to Jason and Brette for a wing-dinger of a race. This race gave me some needed enjoyment after starting to go nuts over my real world hassles.
