From Jason on Discord: For those that knew him, I just received word today that Luis Almeida passed away some days ago. Thought I'd post here, since he raced with MNRL for a long time (from R2P days to CMS days) RIP Luis. You were a kind and good hearten soul. I'm sure you will be missed by your friends and family very much. We will miss you as well.

RIP Luis. I enjoyed racing with him and recall rubbing doors a few times. Sad that we lost him.

Wow, shocking to me....as was said in previous posts, I enjoyed racing with Luis. He was one of the back half of the pack during races with large fields and we'd get within fractions of inches from touching, but we never did touch. Such was the respect he both showed on the track and was shown as a consequence. Luis, thanks for all the good times, bud.
