Congrats on another pair of wins, Jason!
That was really weird having to race the pace car in both races. I had some trouble getting around him in the first race, and in the second race he caused a lot of trouble in T2 L1 ( I think most of us touched the bumper of the guy in front of us because of the pace car).
I spent the whole first race trying to catch Jerry, and most of the second trying to stay in front of Peter (look at the graph for confirmation -- grin). And I had my first podium finish in quite a while, which felt pretty good. Thanks for the fun night, guys.

No idea why the pace car came back out of the pits racing...seems he went back in after a lap, then disappeared to his parking spot as he should have after pace lap. Clearly a bug in the track. I've looked at developer forums, I see no reports of it, so looks like we're the first ones to spot it. I'll be making a clip, and posting a bug report tonight. If able to reproduce it (which I'm sure they will be able to) Reiza will hotfix this issue for us, and any that use it in the future. Given the pace car was only out one lap, and considering the small grid and drivers present, we felt it best to just let it play out and let him go back to pits...rather than having to reset and restart everything and hold us up. Had the grid been larger, or newer drivers present that would not have been the case, but decision was made. He was a bit problematic, but I think we were all able to continue with our races mostly unimpeded. (Though, I was laughing so hard when he late braked me at second hairpin I nearly tossed the car off track...lol...that body roll tho ) Grats on the podium, Aaron. Go drive last night.

I totally agree with continuing on with the race, even had there been 30 drivers and ten of them new to MNRL racing. After all, during a race unexpected things come up (although not THIS one), like someone dropping oil or a body part on the track. Glad you reported it to Reiza, though, Jason...apparently Reiza doesn't hold as high a testing regime as did Norm and Joe when converting tracks and mods. Hope they get it fixed before they release AMS2 :-)

Next time I get behind a pace car I'm punting him off as quick as I can!

...we've finally found an exception to the rules against punting and using opponents car as brakes. Mr. Pace Car Man got a big ole target on his back now. ROFL
