Congrats to Allan on yet another win, and to Peter on getting P1 in the seniors! I left early, so I can't wait to watch the replay...
later: after watching the replay, that was one heck of a race between Allan and Frank -- man, you guys were ON it! It looked like a ton of fun.

I was fighting with my wheel all night. It would not stay on the desk. I couldn't figure out why and kept trying to tighten it until one of the clamps fell out. Mystery solved. I managed to finish the race but it wasn't much fun trying to hold the wheel on the desk while driving. Got some more parts on order.

My favorite cars with setup help from Jason and Joe, I had fun and finished last, but a little argy-bargy here and there put me further back. I had a self inflicted off that bent something, and was close enough to pit entrance that I got into the box for repairs.
Appologies to others I might have impeeded, and especially to Jham; I was holding on to your tail and got a little behind on my braking--hope it didn't damage your car. I went into the grass and it takes forever to get back on the track, so I circulated mostly alone to the finish. Still, what a blast. Sorry Aaron went out early, he's fun to chase too!

Lol, Tony, you wouldn't have been following me in this race! Monday night I had adjusted my ventilation system, and to do so I stood on my piano stool. Bad idea! Just as I got the vent lined up the stool decided to twist and tip over, and when I fell my left leg got tangled up in the resulting mess. Hence, come pre-race practice I was trying to learn how to drive with one foot, since putting pressure on my left shin was agonizing -- if you've got the replay of the practice session, enjoy watching it :-) Every now and then my acquired habit of using my left foot to brake would overcome logic (especially in T1) and I'd be howling by the exit of the turn -- and that last slow chicane necessitated my braking with my left foot, so it's a good thing that I wasn't on an audible channel. But no bones are broken, so I'll be around to challenge you in the next race -- I hope!
