New skin pack available in the opening post of 2006 Camaro SS Sign Up/Info/Files. If you had the previous skin pack you can use the Janes' car only patch. Version 2 includes all cars, including Janes'. Joe - Again, I can't seem to download a file from this site! In this case, I can't download the patch for Janes' car. Must be a problem on my end, but it's puzzling --- Could you e-mail it to me at bhoenigmann@nycap.rr.com instead? Sorry for all the trouble I cause. Bert I sent it to your email.

Tonight being my first race with you guys - is there a password that I need to know? If you don't want to post it here, my e-mail is bhoenigmann@nycap.rr.com Thanks, Bert Yes, a server password will be in place a few hours prior to the race. It is listed in this briefing (loudandproud) ....I realize it's buried a bit deep in that post, but recommend reading the briefing if you're not yet up to speed on all that. Also, make note of the orange zone and what is expected of us all during race starts/start procedure, etc etc. See you tonight! ETA: Remember also, if you leave the server during quali, you cannot get back in until warmup. The quali session is closed due to join/leave lag issues in AMS. So, need to either be in the server before quali starts, or have to wait until quali ends. Notable because at least one driver always forgets this...hehe

Hey Guys - As I sit at the MNRL "Live" screen (the one that shows the track layout at upper-left, and 50 best laps at lower-right), I get a "Connecting/Buffering" pop-up every 30 seconds or so. Note that I have NOT registered with "LiveRacers", but when I click on "Join" and enter the password I DO get on the server.
However, when I'm on-track on the server, I usually get a 2 or so second "glitch" where the AMS view disappears and I see the MNRL "Live" screen again. then I'm back on track (after that 2 or 3 seconds). This happens while in the car on-track. Goes without saying that it is quite off-putting. (It appears that this happens only once during one of the first 2 or 3 laps.)
Is this normal? Or do I have something set wrong? Do I need to register at "LiveRacers"? I don't want this "glitch" to cause a pile-up for anyone during tonite's race.....
Thanks, Bert

Not sure what would cause that but I don't think not being registered with LiveRacers has anything to do with it. You do not have to register if you don't want to. I'm registered but almost never sign in.

"Connecting/Buffering" seems to have stopped now too <Knock wood>. Now, if I could just get my laptimes down by a few seconds.....(I can dream, can't I?). See Ya Tonite, Bert

Thanks, Bert What type of internet connection do you have, Bert? Try connecting through the AMS interface rather than Live Racers, see if that helps with the issue. Sounds like your browser is stealing focus from AMS (do you run AMS in full screen or windowed mode?) Like Joe said, you don't have to register at Live Racers...but, I'd recommend it if you plan to race with us for any amount of time. Keeps your stats from the league, etc...can be cool to look back on after some races pass.

I just successfully connected thru AMS interface and had no probs, so that's what I will do. I'll register at Live Racers too. Thanks.
