It was a beautiful race, a pity I had to meet the 2 DT, this championship was not easy for me, 3 races hurt by my mistakes, and no chance to fight for positions .. I almost gave ESC when I took that shot of Brete Brooks in entry to the pits, gave a rage, but it was momentary .. hope not have to pay any more penalty .. grateful comrades

Is it just me or does clicking the "results" open a page with html gibberish? Link broken?

Is it just me or does clicking the "results" open a page with html gibberish? Link broken? Top right, the icon with the down arrow. Have to d/l to view in full. There is option to view it in browser.

I'd put that on my resume, if I was you!

Thanks for the hint Jason, my noob-ish true colors are showing! This was a difficult and frustrating race for me, one I'll certainly learn from though. Qualified well (for me) in 6th, and there was definitely another .5 sec out there. This was due in no small part to a solid setup from Joe, with a few tweaks to match my driving style. Early in the race, I think Jason received a bit of a shunt, which collected me and a few others as well I think. I haven't looked at the replay yet, but I'm chalking it up to a racing accident, that blind turn into Village definitely caused some stack-up. Rejoining the field at the back, I put my head down and attempted to make up lost ground, but quickly started having issues with my FFB. For no identifiable reason and with no warning, my FFB would just drop out occasionally, which I was able to remedy by using the FFB reset hotkey. Also, I would suddenly have my wheel revert to 900° rotation with no warning, which required making an adjustment on my Logitech profiler running in the background, then resetting the FFB. These issues, combined with my super brief speeding in the pit which awarded me with a DT, served to lampoon my race pretty badly. Made it to the end feeling like a 2019 Williams F1 driver, but at least I finished! Oh well, I'll sort my electro-gremlins and come back strong for Nurburgring in December. Congrats to the front finishers!

Didn't think about the encoder... time to do some research.

I have a Thrustmaster T500. Every time I went on track the FFB was not working. Like you I reset it with a hotkey. Never happened during the race. The wheel rotation setting never was affected.

On a TM wheel myself, and with some cars in AMS sometimes I note that if I have the wheel turned to left or right too much when I go to the track from garage, ffb will not be there. Try to assure, before hitting 'race' button to go on track, that your wheel is centered, this should (mostly) keep that from happening. What Bob is describing is a different issue. I can almost guarantee it's the encoder. I'm willing to bet if you take that wheel apart, you'll find the encoder cracked and/or broken. Joe had this issue in the 24hr Nords race (rF2) last night...wheel kept "falling out of calibration" while he was on track. He's on G27 as well. Very common problem for those wheels after much use. He left the car, took his wheel apart, came back later to tell us he was done for the night, encoder was cracked and he broke it completely trying to quick fix it. Get a brass encoder, fixed for life...bet you won't break that! lol

Congrats to the front finishers! Did you check your encoder yet? I had the same problem you described this weekend at 24hrs of Nurburgring. I took the wheel apart and checked the encoder. Sure enough it was cracked and slipping, also the screws for the bracket the the encoder board is mounted on were loose. I ordered a new brass encoder, here is a link cmlaserservice.com/index.html. Let me know if you need help.
